Announcing the Launch: Movement One Discussion Guides
Today marks a milestone for The Wisdom Born Archive. The Educators Hub is officially open – and with it, the first complete teaching package from our work: Movement One: The Rupture and Its Ground
For months, we’ve been listening to a recurring question from educators, organizers, and community leaders: How do I lead this material responsibly? What does it look like to work with these essays in a group setting?
That question is now answered.
What We Released
Facilitator Guide (full program overview):
- Program structure and session flow
- Timing and pacing options (single session, multi-week, intensive workshop)
- Preparation checklists
- Common challenges and mitigation strategies
- Post-discussion integration steps
Discussion Guides (three separate, one per essay):
- Ground that Remembers (Parts 1 – 3)
- Carrying What Remains
- What Repair Requires (Parts 1 – 3)
Each guide includes opening reflections, discussion questions, activities, cross-theme tracking, facilitator notes, and a closing quote from the text.
Why We’re Doing This
The Archive has always held a simple conviction: knowledge belongs in the hands of the people doing the work. Not gatekept by the credentialed few. Not held hostage in institutions that gathered it and gave nothing back. Returned, rather, to the communities who lived the history and are now building past it.
These guides are part of that return.

How to Use
Guides are free to download, adapt, and share – with attribution. We ask that when resources are shared independently, the standardized attribution notice be included (see the Facilitator Guide for the template).
More Movement packages will follow. Movement Two (“Carrying What Remains”) and Movement Three (“What Repair Requires”) Discussion Guides are in development and expected to launch later this season.
